Places and Postcards started with a simple idea: what if a postcard actually came from somewhere, instead of just looking like it did?
Every month, we travel to a new destination - sometimes announced with clues on social media, sometimes a total surprise - and mail a handwritten postcard straight from there. Real local stamp. Real postmark. Real handwriting, not a printed font pretending to be handwriting.
No two months look the same. As more people subscribe, we go further - which means your subscription literally funds the next trip and the next postcard.
On a recent trip to Belfast, my daughter-in-law wanted to send a postcard to her grandparents. We purchased a local postcard and sat in a local pub writing a personal message. We then searched out a local post office, bought a stamp and mailed the card directly from Belfast. Her Grandparents were overjoyed with the gesture and loved receiving the card in the mail. This was the beginning of "Places and Postcards" and something we want to recreate for anyone wanting to take the journey with us.

Postcards are mailed within the first two weeks of each month. Because they travel by international mail, delivery can take 1-4 weeks depending on your country. The cut-off date is the first of every month, after the first your order will be processed for the following month. If your postcard does not arrive, send us a message and we will rectify the situation.
Yes, you can cancel or pause anytime. Cancel before the 1st of each month to ensure you are not charged for the next month.
Yes, on checkout please provide the details of the person you want to gift the subscription to. Provide their name and address and ensure to explain this is the person receiving the subscription.
